Hi, I’m Drew — founder of Big Idea Design.
I build AI presentation systems that help organizations generate high-quality, on-brand materials without sacrificing structure, clarity, or control.
Before focusing on AI systems design, I worked as an urban planner. That work required translating complex, multi-stakeholder problems into clear, visual, decision-ready communication—often under constraints where accuracy and clarity were critical.
That background shaped how I approach design today: not as decoration, but as a system for helping people understand complex ideas clearly
Today, that work has evolved into building controlled AI presentation systems that operate inside tools like Google Slides and PowerPoint, helping teams scale production without losing consistency or brand integrity.
In addition to my independent practice, I work with Umbrella Creative, a collaborative team that supports larger engagements involving broader communication strategy, motion, and narrative development.
I’m based between Portland, Oregon and Barcelona, Spain, and work with teams globally.
